Where to start

What we take care of

Three workstreams every newcomer has to open. We run them together so you don't bounce between authorities.

Company formation

From checking your activity to opening the bank account, through MISA, the articles of association and the commercial registration.

  • Eligibility check
  • MISA registration
  • Articles and commercial registration
  • National address, lease, municipal licence
  • Bank account file
Company formation

Trademark registration

Prior search, class selection, filing through a SAIP-registered agent, follow-up until the certificate is issued.

  • Prior search
  • Arabic transliteration
  • Filing via a registered agent
  • Opposition monitoring
  • Renewal reminder
Trademark registration

VAT and tax compliance

ZATCA registration, e-invoicing, filing calendar: start trading without penalties.

  • ZATCA registration
  • FATOORA set-up
  • Filing calendar
  • Introduction to an accountant
VAT and tax compliance

All three, in a single file

Formation, trademark and VAT are usually sold separately, by different firms. We coordinate them as one project: one timeline, one advisor, one written proposal.

Who does what

Some acts are reserved for licensed Saudi professionals. Here is, step by step, what we do ourselves and what others handle.

A licensed partner steps in where the law requires one: a SAIP-registered agent for non-resident applicants, a sworn translator. Decisions always rest with the relevant authority.

Indicative timeline

For a services company with a complete file. Activities that need a sector licence take longer.

  1. Week 0

    First call

30 minutes to check the activity, choose the legal form and list the documents.

  2. Weeks 1–2

    Documents and legalisation

Parent company documents, apostille, certified Arabic translations.

  3. Weeks 2–3

    MISA registration

Online filing of the investment file and payment of the fee set by the Ministry.

  4. Weeks 3–5

    Company registered

Articles of association, commercial registration, chamber of commerce, national address.

  5. Weeks 4–8

    Company operational

Bank account, ZATCA, GOSI, Qiwa, manager's visa and iqama.

The trademark follows its own timeline (examination, publication, registration): we file it at the start so it runs in parallel.

Our commitments, in writing

We are a young firm. Instead of promises, commitments you can check.

Eligibility check before any payment

We confirm your activity is open to foreign investors before proposing anything.

A firm written proposal

Scope, steps, timeline and fees set out in writing after the first call.

Government fees at cost

MISA, commercial registration and SAIP fees are passed on without mark-up, with receipts.

One founder, one point of contact

Tasis Partners was founded by Nathan Fenina, founder of the Décupler agency. He started Tasis after noticing that founders looking at Saudi Arabia find either firms built for large corporates, or contradictory and outdated information.

You deal with the same person from the first call to the bank account. Regulated acts go through licensed Saudi professionals, whom we coordinate for you.

Frequently asked questions

Can a foreigner own 100% of a company in Saudi Arabia?

Yes, in most activities. Since the revised Investment Law (February 2025), foreign investors obtain an investment registration certificate from MISA and can hold the entire share capital, except in restricted activities. See the requirements for foreigners.

How much does it cost to set up a company in Saudi Arabia?

Budget for MISA fees (set case by case), commercial registration, legalisation, an office and visas. Our cost calculator breaks down every line with its source. Share capital is not an expense: it stays in the company's account.

Do I need to travel to Saudi Arabia?

Most steps are done remotely. A trip is usually needed to open the bank account and obtain the manager's iqama; we plan it to keep it short.

Why Saudi Arabia rather than Dubai?

The Saudi market is far larger, and many public and semi-public buyers favour companies with a local presence. The trade-off is a more demanding process, which is where support pays off.

Are you a law firm or a government body?

No. Tasis Partners is a private advisory service. We coordinate your file and work with licensed professionals for the steps that require them. Decisions rest with MISA, the Ministry of Commerce, SAIP and ZATCA.
